Mobility 

The ability to articulate joints, stretch our muscles, and in so doing, find balance, comfort, and freedom of movement, is a function of our bodies that many of have been robbed of over the years of hard play, and sendentary lifestyles. If you watch a 2-year old squat, or a gymnast perform a routine, you see just what the human body is capable of. Yet, it can seem impossible to reclaim that kind of range of motion. 

 

At CrossFit Collective, we do not downplay, or diminish the value of quality time spent instructing our athletes on how to stretch, and moblize their joints. We know that by doing so, the quality of life and athletic capabilities continues to rise.

 

We build time into every session for proper warm-up, and cool-down mobilizing drills. Furthermore, we offer mobility-focused sessions each week, dedicated to relieving the soreness and pain that comes from lack of range of motion. These sessions are included with our UNLIMITED membership, or are an option to substitute your regular CrossFit Open session each month.
