Individual members of the training staff at CrossFit Collective must at all times exemplify in attitude, behavior and comportment a passion to enrich the lives of clients. Teaching, demonstrating, and encouraging are only the beginning; indeed, the bare minimum of what is required to be a trainer at CrossFit Collective. Of course staff members will be both qualified and available. They must also be motivated, driven, caring, invested, engaged, curious and tireless. CrossFit Collective trainers are willing to provide service above and beyond the expectation of clients. They will be buoyant, can-‐do and eager to help, whatever the task. A CrossFit Collective Trainer should work to grow as an athlete and a person and citizen. She will help others do the same by teaching with competence and criticizing with compassion. Trainers will have a strong ethics, high honor and impeccable professionalism.

The CrossFit Collective Trainer is entrusted by the management of CrossFit Collective (CFC) to give due diligence to working with CFC toward common business goals.

An important role of a trainer at CFC is to set as high example of core values and professionalism that is taught and demonstrated at CFC. These values included, but are not limited to the following:

  • Practice the methods established by CrossFit Inc., and leading scientific knowledge of athletic development.

  • Understand and have a working knowledge of proper nutrition, self-‐maintenance through mobility drills, and key concepts of physiological systems.

  • Understand and practice goal setting in fitness.

  • Continuously learn new skills and knowledge related to fitness.

The CrossFit Collective trainer has a tall order to fill. We make no apologies about that. This is a difficult business and we will succeed by being better, doing better and serving our clientele better. If the trainer is satisfied with working just for payment, this is probably not the job for them and we wish them well. If the trainer cannot meet these expectations, you will not be welcome as part of our excellent staff.
